Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)

We measure, develop and improve all areas of our business through Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).

KPI's are set for every operational department within the business from Internal Sales to Production, Planning to Purchasing.

The KPI data is extracted trom the companies business system (real time) and displayed on KPI dashboards positioned on monitors and screens throughout our business.

Oldham Engineering invest in sufficated and accurate inspection technology to complements our extensive machining and fabrication capacity.

Quality inspection equipment such as our CMM, Faro Arm and In-cycle Machine tool probing, helps to ensure conformation to customer specifications.

Where needed, we hire specialist laser inspection equipment as appropriate

A business is only as good as the information it uses.

Oldham Engineering understand that accurate and meaningful business information allows for better decisions to be made. As such, the business ensures that every operation on every component produced by the company has a barcode.

Bar code reading terminals are positioned around our facility, next to all machine tools, fabrication and assembly stations to help record the exact operational status of the component as it is processed through the companies system.

Oldham Engineering are certified by BSI to IS09001:2008 and have held the accolade since 1993.

Oldham Engineering are also Lloyds certified to numerous international fabrication standards including ASME XI and BSEN 15614 and Norsok M101.

In addition, Oldham has certification for hundreds of Customer Specific welding standards and procedures covering a wide variety of materials types and thicknesses.

The business operates under the EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) model to ensure that best practice systems and procedures are operated within our facility.
