CNC Machinist

Fully skilled CNC Machinist with CNC programming experience preferably using Heidenhain controls.  The candidate must have the ability to operate a variety of CNC machines, experience of machining heavy engineering components, be able to work from technical drawings and be able to work shifts.

Inspector

The successful candidate ideally would be from a medium to heavy engineering background preferably with fabrication and or machining inspection experience and be able to carry out first off and final inspection to the relevant drawing.  The applicant should have experience in the following:-·         

  • Previous inspection experience is essential·         
  • Reading and understanding technical drawings/ information with a great eye for detail·         
  • A working knowledge of measuring equipment·         
  • Ensure measuring equipment is within current calibration·         
  • Carrying out manual inspection on work in progress and finished items using traditional measuring tools such as verniers, calipers, micrometers etc·         
  • Following the company’s quality departmental procedures       
  • Create and update quality records where necessary        
  • Liaise with other departments concerning quality issues

Experience in the following would be advantageous:-·  NDT, CMM, MPI & DPI

Sales Manager

Oldham Engineering Limited is a medium to heavy engineering company that manufactures bespoke engineered products into many market sectors including Oil & Gas, Defence and Nuclear.  We are looking to appoint an experienced Sales Manager with a technical engineering background in machining, fabrication and mechanical assembly.

The role will involve developing and completing tenders alongside the existing sales team for a number of engineering projects.  The ability to develop Key Accounts and customer relationships will be a prerequisite of the position along with a passion to achieve planned sales growth with positive performance.  The ideal candidate will possess drive and enthusiasm, excellent communication & organisational skills along with the ability to present face to face.

An excellent numeration package is on offer for the successful applicant.
